Basic KNX is a straightforward application designed for testing KNX installations with efficiency and simplicity.
Utilizing this application requires an active KNX setup equipped with an IP network interface, such as a KNX/IP Gateway.
Communication with the KNX system is achieved via Tunnelling Services provided by the KNXnet/IP protocol. Future updates are planned to incorporate data transmission through Routing Services.
The application operates when the iPhone or iPad is connected to the same network as the KNX/IP interface, whether via Wi-Fi or VPN connection.
It supports sending various data types, including BOOLEAN, BYTE, WORD, and DOUBLE WORD.
Currently available in English and Spanish, with additional languages to be introduced in upcoming releases.
For more advanced control capabilities, users are encouraged to explore the Easy KNX application.
